Day 01

After your arrival in Sri Lankan airport you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Afterwards you will be travelling straight to the city of Kandy which is approximately a 3 and a half hour drive from the international airport. Here you will have a full relaxing afternoon since you’ve had a long flight journey. Kandy is the home to the Temple of the Tooth and is one of the most venerable places for the Buddhist community of Sri Lanka and all around the world. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to explore this ancient Kandy city and take part in the Kandy cultural dance at 5’o clock in the evening which goes for about an hour. Also, experiencing a special evening puja, including a drumming ceremony in the  Buddha’s tooth temple which is right next door and only a walking distance. Your first night will be spent in this marvellous city.

Day 02

On the 2nd day you will have a relaxing morning while exploring the beautiful nature and afterwards, you will be checking out from the hotel in order to travel to Nuwara Eliya. On the way we will visit the Royal Botanical Garden. Nuwara Eliya is the beautiful uphill environment of Sri Lanka that has extremely beautiful and delicate natural waterfalls, lush tea estates, vegetable farms and many more scenic locations that will capture your hearts for sure. Nuwara Eliya It is the coldest part of the country as it is 5000 feet above sea level and is located at the heart of the Hill Country. It is also known as “little England” by tourists as the town is well planned and still retains its English style. The cool, calm climate, gorges rolling tea plantation which makes the best “Ceylon tea” and the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world. Nuwara Eliya is a quiet and a peaceful place, therefore perfect for nature lovers and ramblers. While you are here, you can explore the city by foot, visit tea gardens and walk around organic tea plantation sites, explore vegetable farms as well as the famous fruits & vegetable market, old historical buildings that dates back to the British Colonial era, visit the highest mountain of Sri Lanka (Piduruthalagala mountain), Gregory Lake and also spa’s to relax. You will spend your second night in a luxury hotel of your choice in this glorious city of Nuwara Eliya.

Day 03

On the 3rd day checkout from the hotel and travel straight to Ella which is only a 2 hour drive from Nuwara Eliya. Ella city is a major tourist attraction and is known as the oxygen centre of Sri Lanka that has a cool climate so of course you will be needing warm clothes. You will be able to experience the amazing Ella natural gap and the Ella rock that has the perfect view which will capture your hearts for sure. Usually the whole area is covered in mist in the evening and you will also be able to observe this beautiful scenery. Furthermore, you will be climbing the little Adam’s peak, which will only take about an hour to climb to the top. Your third night will be spent in this beautiful tourist city.

Day 04

After breakfast you will head down to Udawalawa and this will be a 2 hour drive from the Ella city. On the way we will also be able to visit the natural Ravana waterfall. After your arrival in Udawalawa you will be able to have a relaxing afternoon while enjoying and exploring the city. Udawalawa is the perfect location for wildlife enthusiasts as you can walk around the rural area that will give you a 100% wildlife experience. Here you will also have the opportunity to visit the famous dam and taste a Sri Lankan style lunch. You will be checking into a nature friendly luxury hotel of your choice and the night will be spent here.

Day 05

Today you will rise early to experience the Udawalawa safari. This place is mainly famous for elephants. During the visit, it is not unusual to see whole herds of adults and young elephants feeding or bathing and playing in the water. Here you have the opportunity to see the bottle feeding of elephants and it is a main highlight of the Udawalawa national park. Also, this is where you will be having lunch. This park is also the home to many water buffalo, water monitor lizards, sambar deer, crocodiles, monkeys and the occasional leopards as well as an exciting location for bird enthusiasts. Afterwards you will be travelling to Kalutara city. It is an ideal location to explore beautiful beaches and temples. Here you will be having a full relaxing afternoon. In the evening, we will do a city tour of Kalutara where you will also be able to do shopping, visit Kalutara Bodhi, Beruwala fish market. If you want we can also take you explore the brief gardens. Furthermore, relaxing in the famous Calido beach while observing and enjoying a perfect view of the sunset. You will be spending your final night here in a luxury hotel of your choice.

Day 06

On your final day you will be travelling straight to Colombo where you will have the opportunity to explore the city. However the city tour will depend on the departure time. Afterwards you will say goodbye to this beautiful country and will proceed to the airport for departure. I’m a photography enthusiast and this tour was more all that it says its going to be and more! Thanks to my guide’s knowledge of the area, I managed to to get some really amazing shots and see some unforgettable, breathtaking views. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is a wild life or photography enthusiasts.
